Relaxed summer wedding at Llanerchaeron Nation Trust
Elin & Huw - 10th June 2019
Elin spent the morning with her Mum and bridesmaids at a house near the venue; where they got pampered, having hair & make up done, full of excitement ready for the day ahead. The bridesmaids then travelled in a Rolls Royce to the ceremony to wait for the bride to arrive. With a cheeky shot to calm the nerves, Elin and her Mum quickly got ready before following shortly after.
The ceremony was a beautiful service at the gorgeous Llanerchaeron National Trust, which took place in one of the old barns that has been made converted into a wedding venue. Family & friends gathered to see the newly weds say 'I do'. During the ceremony the couple exchanged vows before several beautiful readings from friends and family.
Everyone then headed outside for drinks and canopies while guests mingled among the chickens wondering about, taking in the beautiful setting. After the group shots, we headed off for a few portraits around the beautiful gardens in Llanerchaeron. Elin and Huw asked if we could visit somewhere very special to them so with a little windy detour we arrived at Llanrhystud beach, where Huw had proposed to Elin, we stopped for a few more shots of the new Mr & Mrs Davies.
The reception was in a beautiful room at a pub just down the road; which has recently been converted from an old school. They had decorated it beautifully with lights, and gorgeous flowers in little milk churns everywhere. They added their own personal touch too with a prosecco bar, doughnut stand, photo booth and garden games for their guest to enjoy.
Once everyone was seated, Elin's Mum, Huw and his Best Man got on with the speeches. There was lots of laughter & tears as stories were shared about Elin & Huw growing up and about how they met each other; before getting stuck into the delicious meal, an antipasti platter for starter, Short rib of beef for the main, followed by a mini trio of deserts - its was delicious!
As the evening approached the couple took to the dance floor for their first dance, being followed shorty after by their family & friends. They then partied hard into the night with live music by a local band.
