family session Information
Thank you so much for booking a family session with me! It's so important to capture beautiful images of your gorgeous little family to look back on in years to come.
Here are a few tips on how to prepare for your session
WHAT to WEAR?
You can wear anything really, keeping the colours neutral, whites, dark greys, or navy often works well as is not harsh against your skin tone.
Do you do parent images?
Oh course!! I think it is really important that you exist in photos. During your family session, I will take photos in a variety of different set ups so you have a variety of photos. For example, some of everyone, some of just the children, some with just Mum, some with just Dad, just the girls, just the boys etc.
Patience is key
Some children are really keen to have their photo taken and jump straight in, while others take a bit longer to settle. Please don't worry if your session is taking longer than you thought it might, I'd much rather take time to settle them so they are enjoying themselves than to rush & them be upset. Its not very often that I'll have another shoot straight after so we might have extra time to settle.
Can we take photos on our phone?
I must insist you do not take photos on your phone. You are here for me to take beautiful, professional keepsake images for you. Let me take care of the photographs while you sit and relax. One thing I do allow, is when you are sat on the chair, you can take a behind the scenes photo, but I must be in the photograph. I love seeing your behind the scenes photographs of your session here with me.
Viewing your photos
I will send you a sneak preview from your session within a couple of days. Once they are all ready I will upload them onto a private password protected gallery for you to view & choose your images from.
You will receive 10 digital images of your choice with your family session. Information on additional products can be found on the Product & Package page.
How to find me
